Song of the Week: Breakeven by The Script
Some of my fave lines from this song:
Her best days will be some of my worst, She finally met a man that’s gonna put her first..
‘Coz when a heart breaks, no it don’t break even, even no.
What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you
What am I supposed to say when I’m all choked up and you’re ok
I’m falling to pieces..
They say bad things happen for a reason. But no wise words gonna stop the bleeding
‘Coz she’s moved on while I’m still grieving
Song of the Week: Captured By Christian Bautista ft. Sitti
Lately I’ve been listening to Bossa Nova type of music. This is not my song preference but I usually hear it when my dad drives me to work. Sitti, one of the known local bossa singer captured the heart of many Filipinos with this unique type of music. Infact, her songs are on our cars playlist since my sister is a big fan. So every morning I always get my dose of bossa nova music. Relaxing, indeed!
I was looking for another song to feature this week. Apparently, I cannot find Sitti’s version of That’s What Friends Are For which my first choice. Captured, a duet with Christian Bautista is also a nice song. Actually, this is not a bossa nova Genre but it’s worth listening.
Les Paul on Google

He was a pioneer in the development of the solid-body electric guitar which “made the sound of rock and roll possible”.

2NE1′s ‘The Party:’ Short, sweet
The concert “The Party” by Korean girl group 2NE1 will likely be remembered as “Tribute to Sandara” night.
Kicking off the two-hour-and-a-half show last June 4 at the Araneta Coliseum was indie band Techie Romantics, who did a three-song set. They were immediately followed by balladeer “Asiansation” Christian Bautista, who gleefully recalled after singing Bruno Mars “Just the Way You Are” and “Love Moves in Mysterious Ways” how he felt upon learning that Sandara “Sandy/Dara” Park loved his hit, “The Way You Look At Me.”
“Grabe nung nakuha ko yung text na ‘yon [saying that Dara liked my song] parang… I felt so good! I felt so happy. So Dara if you’re listening, this is for you!” Christian shared.
